We offer week long summer horse camps for children ages 4-16 for the Truckee Reno Tahoe area. Camp is a great way for children and teens to learn about horses and to learn how to ride or advance their riding skills.  We offer quality instruction, well behaved horses, and a fun environment. The summer program is structured so that your child can progress through the summer if you would like to enroll them in more than one camp. Pony & critter camps

cross country camps

Intermediate to advanced camp for kids looking to improve their hunter jumper and cross country skills. This is an all day camp with a minimum of 3 hours of riding instruction per day out on the trails, or in one of our arenas. In addition to riding, kids spend time learning about equine care and doing farm chores such as grooming, cleaning stalls or other work.

Jr. Counselor program

For those kids who are advanced riders and want to take more responsibility, our Jr. Counselor Program is for them. Starting at 9am, the Jr. Counselors help our counselors with the other kids enrolled in camp by instructing, supervising, and helping with chores around the property. Jr. Counselors ride about 3 hours per day in an advanced setting either in a group of other kids or their own private group depending on the day.
