We offer week long summer horse camps for children ages 4-16 for the Truckee Reno Tahoe area. Camp is a great way for children and teens to learn about horses and to learn how to ride or advance their riding skills. We offer quality instruction, well behaved horses, and a fun environment. The summer program is structured so that your child can progress through the summer if you would like to enroll them in more than one camp. All camps are online registration by clicking on one of the buttons below. If you have any questions please call us at (530) 582-6780 or email firstname.lastname@example.org

Our horse camps emphasize safety and solid horsemanship fundamentals. Each student will work with their own horse for the week whenever possible. Horse camp is for students ages 6 to 14 and the camp will be divided by ability level. Camp is offered Monday through Friday from 9am -12pm and 1pm-5-pm. The price for one 5 day session is $550 per camper. Motivated students are welcome to sign up for both the morning and afternoon session.
Pony & critter camps
For the younger ones, we offer camps that focus on kids getting exposure to horses and other farm animals. While campers will have the opportunity to take pony rides, this camp is much more focused on hands on learning and adventure for ages 4 to 10. Camp is offered in a morning session from 9am-12pm and the afternoon session from 1pm- 4pm. The price is $450 per camper per session.
cross country camps
Intermediate to advanced camp for kids looking to improve their hunter jumper and cross country skills. This is an all day camp with a minimum of 3 hours of riding instruction per day out on the trails, or in one of our arenas. In addition to riding, kids spend time learning about equine care and doing farm chores such as grooming, cleaning stalls or other work.
Jr. Counselor program
For those kids who are advanced riders and want to take more responsibility, our Jr. Counselor Program is for them. Starting at 9am, the Jr. Counselors help our counselors with the other kids enrolled in camp by instructing, supervising, and helping with chores around the property. Jr. Counselors ride about 3 hours per day in an advanced setting either in a group of other kids or their own private group depending on the day.
