Boarding & Training
We offer numerous different boarding and training options to fit most any budget, skill level, and riding discipline. We are open year-round - yes even through the big Tahoe winters!
Please include details about your horse, it’s needs, and why you are interested in our barn. All our boarders are expected to be hands on owners- visiting their horse multiple times a week. Additionally we have lots of kids at the barn, they take priority, if you do not like kids, this is not the barn for you!
Facility
We are located just outside of downtown Truckee on a beautiful 70 acre property with sweeping views of the Sierra Crest and mount Rose. The Tahoe National Forest is just beyond our property line offering hundreds of miles of scenic trail riding opportunities. Overall, our facility consists of:
2 MD Barns with 16 stalls each
Stalls are 12x12 with a 16x12 attached run-out
Heated waters
Private tack locker
Outdoor Paddocks & Pastures
Covered Arena - open year round
Western Arena
English Arena
Large Multipurpose Arena
Round Corral
Small Ground Work Arena
Turnout Corrals
Lawn & Patio Areas for Special Events

Sales & Leases
Throughout the course of the year we have horses that are up for sale. Most have been with us for a number of years and we feel it is time for them to find their forever home. Others have been with us a short time and they are not the right fit. With over 80 horses in our string at any given time, we are likely to have just the horse you are looking for!
Looking to lease, or lease to own? Whether you are a young rider looking to trade up as you learn and grow or an adult rider who wants a trail horse or jumper, we have quite a few options for you! Leases generally start in April and have a 8 month minimum commitment. Unfortunately we cannot just start leases in the summer.
