We can't believe the summer is almost over! With only two more weeks of camp left for the summer, we wanted to let know you that we have a few extra spots in all our camps. To sweeten the deal, we are offering all our repeat 2022 campers a 20% discount on Farmstead, Pony Critter, and Colt Camp. Additionally, we will be offering it for Afternoon 1/2 Day Horse Camp. Unfortunately, this discount is not available for morning camp, but we still have a few spots left if you are interested. Spaces are limited and may go fast.

Summer Camp 2022 Changes
2021 was a year of growth for our summer camps and a year of numerous challenges. We were able to build a new site for Farmstead Camp, several new round pens, staging areas, and arenas. We were able to buy additional horses and attract a quality summer staff. In spite of adding space for an additional twenty campers a week, we still had waiting lists for many camps that were far larger than we could have expected. Spots in camp will fill up quickly and we are genuinely sorry when we can not find a spot for every child.

Intermediate Thanksgiving Week Mini Camps 2021
This Thanksgiving week we will be offering mini-camps for ages 8-14. All the kids in the program will receive an hour of instruction on horseback each day. Kids will be assigned their own tack and horse for the duration. Kids will be expected to tack up and untack their horses. The camp will last two hours for four sessions. Camp will meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday of Thanksgiving Week. There will not be camp on the Day of Thanksgiving. The camp will be offered from 10:30 am-12:30 pm. Campers must be 8 years old to sign up unless they have had special clearance from staff.
Cost is $350 per rider
Painting our jumps!
Thank you to all the parents and kids who helped with sprucing up the English arena. We tackled the footing build up on the rail and were able to repaint most of the jumps. I think everyone had fun while making a serious dent on the appearance of the arena. By now, you all know how I feel about kids and adults working together to make our barn a better place. Yesterday, we had a terrific turnout and we were able to accomplish far more than I anticipated. Kudos to everyone who helped out!

Summer camp registration is open for 2021. While the future is so uncertain, we are almost sure that we will be able to offer camps in the same format as last summer. We may make modifications as we get closer. We are not sure whether children will be required to wear masks on the ground. Please know that we will try to do everything we can to keep your children safe.

Sign-ups Are Open for Mini Camps at Piping Rock this Holiday Season!
Did your child love summer camp with us? We are hoping to repeat the same fun and educational atmosphere this Holiday Season. We will be offering a series of mini camps for ages 8-14. All the kids in the program will receive an hour of instruction on horseback each day. Kids will be assigned their own tack and horse for the duration. Kids will be grouped in pods of four and will stay with with group after the first day of evaluation. Families will typically be grouped together. Kids will be expected to tack up and untack their horses. Campers must be 8 years old to sign up unless they have had a special clearance from staff. Please inquire if your child is under 8 years old and is interested in participating.
